Badges and certificates

PawPass badges are platform participation signals. They help customers understand whether a listing is claimed, Access Ready, Certified, or award-reviewed. They are not legal findings, government approvals, or guarantees of future experiences.

Workplace access awareness

The business portal is built to support calmer staff decisions, clearer documentation, and better customer conversations around service dog teams and public dog interactions.

Questions businesses ask

Is PawPass trying to punish businesses?
No. PawPass is designed to make access experiences easier to understand and easier to address. The goal is trust, clarity, and better customer confidence.
Can a free claimed business read feedback?
Yes. A free claimed account can see access experience reports tied to the listing and submit a factual response or dispute.
Can a free claimed business use corrective action?
Yes. If PawPass assigns corrective action after an access concern, the business can purchase the one-time corrective course without starting Access Ready or Certified. Passing creates a corrective completion certificate, not a badge or certification.
What makes Certified different?
Certified is a yearly participation program. It includes Access Ready tools for that paid year, required course completion, certificate display, and Certified badge eligibility.
Supportive, not legalistic
PawPass helps businesses organize community feedback, education, and trust signals. It does not make official ADA determinations or replace legal advice.
