PAWPASS POLICY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
Overview
PawPass is operated by Stodghill Consulting LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information PawPass may collect, how it may be used, and the choices users have. This starter policy should be reviewed by qualified counsel before launch.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as name, email address, role, and sign-in provider.
- Business information such as business name, location, contact details, claim status, staff training records, and subscription status.
- Community content such as reviews, ratings, access concern reports, incident details, photos or attachments users choose to upload, and public listing interactions.
- Location information when a user chooses to use browser location for nearby search. PawPass uses this to return nearby results and does not need to store precise browser coordinates for ordinary search.
- Search terms, filters, selected categories, approximate locations, and listing interactions used to improve nearby search and recommendations.
- Payment and billing information processed by Stripe. PawPass does not store full card numbers.
- Technical information such as device, browser, IP address, log data, and security/audit records.
How We Use Information
- To provide PawPass search, reviews, business listings, badges, training, certificates, and account features.
- To review reports, moderate content, prevent abuse, and protect users and businesses.
- To process payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, and account upgrades through Stripe.
- To communicate about account activity, reports, training, billing, safety, and support.
- To improve PawPass features, reliability, security, and community trust systems.
- To support future PawPass mobile app features, push notifications, account continuity, and location-based search if those features are enabled.
Sharing Information
PawPass may share information with service providers that help operate the platform, including authentication, hosting, analytics, email, file storage, maps/search, and payment processors. Public reviews, ratings, badges, business listings, and selected report outcomes may be visible to other users. PawPass may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with user consent.
Sensitive Information
Users should not include medical diagnoses, private disability details, legal conclusions, or unnecessary personal information in reviews or reports. PawPass asks users to describe first-person experiences rather than private medical or legal claims.
Geolocation
If a user chooses "use my location," the browser or device may ask for permission before sharing location data. PawPass uses that location to return nearby listings. Users can deny location access and search by city, state, ZIP code, business name, or category instead.
Mobile App and Notifications
If PawPass later offers a mobile app, the app may request permissions such as location, notifications, camera, or photo access. Those permissions should be controlled by the user's device settings and used only for PawPass features such as nearby search, uploads, account alerts, or review/report submissions.
Your Choices
Users may update account information, request support, manage subscriptions through available billing tools, and request deletion or correction where legally required. Some records may be retained for security, legal, fraud prevention, audit, dispute, or legitimate business purposes.
Children
PawPass is not intended for children under 13. Users should not submit information about children without appropriate authority.
